Responsibilities include rate fixation and bill payment for printing press and circulation of department publications state-wide; liaison works with the publication division and offices of Chief Minister and other ministers; production works for special issue of publications etc. In addition to this, he/she also oversees fair utilisation of allotted funds from appropriate head of accounts.

    Co-ordination of responsibilities entrusted to English and Malayalam editors, information officers of Research and Reference and Circulation division; production and publication works of department’s publications like Kerala Calling, Samakalika Janapatham, Special editions etc.; and management of websites exclusively for publications.
